Our low height jacks are designed and manufactured to work in the toughest environments to which this type of equipment is normally associated, they have a locking collar which mechanically locks the ram making them safe and reliable. Hydra-Jacks are also fitted with a swivel head (tilting saddle) which ensures that the load is transferred centrally through the ram, the input connection is easily made via a angled quick release coupling. When selecting hydraulic cylinders the ideal working range should be about 75% of the jacks capacity.

When using hydra-jacks it may be necessary to spread the load against concrete, solid steel packing plates should be adopted in a pyramid style to provide a quick and easy solution which can be man handled into position. The bottom base plate is normally levelled on a high strength grout or mortar bed which not only provides a level surface but also removes the possibility of any point loading that may occur.
